"I knew having a volunteer visit would help me but I didn't realise how much of a difference it would make. She really keeps me sane"

Home-Start Norwich aims to help children get the best possible start in life.

We work to support families who are struggling to cope. We help them develop and strengthen their relationships with their children, to grow in confidence and support them through a difficult period in their lives.

Many parents need help and friendship during those early years when children are young. Home-Start Norwich supports families who have a least one child under five who may be dealing with issues such as:

  • Isolation
  • Illness
  • Mental health
  • Disability
  • Domestic abuse
  • Coping with several under 5s and / or twins
  • Post natal depression

We provide non-judgemental, confidential, practical help and emotional support for families. The family support we provide is tailored towards their individual needs, for as long as it is needed. We enable families to get back on track with their lives.

Home-Start Norwich is changing its name and charitable objects in preparation for county wide merge to become Home-Start Norfolk.
